Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and personal hygiene needs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Support infection control practices and ensure a safe environment
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and colleagues to coordinate care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Valid state CNA license/certification as applicable
• Comfortable working the assigned day shift and supporting a team-based care model
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; dependable and patient-focused
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings as required by the facility

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic bedside care and assisting with activities of daily living
• Knowledge of vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Familiarity with accurate documentation and charting practices
• Teamwork mindset and strong customer-service orientation toward residents and families
