Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
• Monitor and record vital signs and observe changes in condition to support excellent clinical outcomes
• Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, mobility, and safe positioning to prevent injury
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents and families to ensure dignity and understanding
• Follow care plans and document accurately in the patient record to support continuity of care
• Keep the care environment clean and safe by following infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care that makes a real difference

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active or eligible for Pennsylvania CNA listing or reciprocity
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Comfort working night shifts and collaborating in a fast-paced care environment
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completed accredited CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
• Knowledge of infection control best practices
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents and clinical teams
• Ability to follow care plans and document observations accurately
• Teamwork and adaptability in a dynamic clinical setting
