Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team to support safe care
• Assist with ADLs and follow individualized care plans to promote dignity and independence
• Document care activities accurately and timely to maintain clear communication among staff
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and families
• Work as a reliable member of the care team, stepping in to help coworkers when needed

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (valid in Pennsylvania) required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Foundational patient care skills including bathing, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
• Accurate documentation and charting skills
• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nurses
• Time management and prioritization in a dynamic care environment
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with residents and families
