Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, maintaining dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Document care activities accurately and timely according to facility protocols
- Collaborate with nursing team and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
- Windows of availability for the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to pass background and health screenings required by the facility
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care techniques and infection control practices
- Strong communication skills with residents, families, and care teams
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs

This is a travel contract position based in historic Gettysburg.
