Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on personal care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Document care provided and observations accurately and timely in resident records
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create a positive resident experience

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
• Able to pass background check and any facility-required screenings
• Reliable, professional, and able to adapt to a fast-paced care environment
• Previous long-term care or rehab experience is a plus but not required

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient-centered care and bedside manner
• Ability to assist with ADLs and basic clinical tasks (vital signs, toileting, feeding)
• Good observation skills and ability to communicate resident changes clearly
• Basic documentation skills and comfort using electronic or paper charting
• Teamwork, time management, and a calm approach during busy shifts
