Shift Type: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; days vary (schedule to be confirmed) - Evening

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents, preserving dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support mobility and safe transfer techniques to reduce fall risk
- Help create a calm, respectful environment that promotes resident well-being
- Document care and resident interactions accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to meet individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- Previous experience working with geriatric or long-term care residents preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to complete required health screenings
- Clear background check and ability to pass facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and dignity-centered approaches
- Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Basic clinical observation and ability to report changes
- Good documentation practices and time management
- Comfort working in fast-paced long-term care or rehab environments
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
