Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and advocacy for residents at Larkin Chase Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the medical record
• Perform regular patient assessments and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, person-centered care
• Support patient and family education to promote recovery and safe transitions
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable administering medications and performing routine nursing assessments
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass required facility onboarding, background checks and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program or nursing program
• For RN candidates, ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing school

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Medication administration and reconciliation knowledge
• Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently during busy evening shifts
• Good interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, families and care teams
