Shift Type: Rotating 3x12-hour shifts per week. Day option: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM (3 shifts/week). Night option: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM (3 shifts/week). Rotating coverage including weekends as needed.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for adults undergoing BMT and oncology treatments
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, recognize dysrhythmias, and activate rapid response teams when needed
- Safely administer and monitor blood products and IV therapy including chemotherapy-related infusions when indicated
- Manage central lines, PICC and implanted ports including access, dressing changes, and central line blood draws
- Perform feeding tube care and management for patients requiring enteral support
- Support CAR-T and transplant patients through all phases of care with strict infection prevention practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners including pharmacy, respiratory, PT, social work, and radiology to optimize patient outcomes
- Document accurately in Epic and communicate abnormal labs and clinical changes to the care team and families
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience with at least 1 year of oncology experience and MS/Telemetry experience required for screening
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Oncology Nursing Society chemotherapy certification and Oncology Certified credentials preferred but not required
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be screened
- Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry interpretation and continuous monitoring skills
- Proficiency in IV therapy, infusions, and blood product administration
- Central line, PICC, and port care and management
- Feeding tube care and enteral management
- Infection prevention and isolation precautions in immunocompromised patients
- Experience with BMT, autologous/allogeneic transplants, and CAR-T patient care
- Comfortable using Rapid Response Teams and collaborating in emergency situations
- Working knowledge of Epic electronic charting and unit-specific equipment like GE B450 telemetry and Alaris pumps
