Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused nursing care following facility policies and standards
• Assess patient condition, document findings, and develop plans of care in collaboration with the team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to support continuity of care and positive outcomes
• Provide patient and family education to promote recovery and safe transitions home
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient status with timely interventions and escalation when needed

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in New Mexico (or compact RN licensure as applicable)
• Or current Licensed Practical Nurse license if applying for LPN opportunities at this facility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications welcomed
• Active clinical experience in acute care or relevant nursing setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education

• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• LPN: Practical nursing diploma or equivalent as required by state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical prioritization skills
• Competence with medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health records and basic computer skills
• Ability to triage and escalate changes in patient status appropriately
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management
