Shift Type: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly after orientation); first week is orientation (schedule may differ). Specific start/end times to be confirmed with the facility (Night shift).

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and provide high-quality emergency care to patients across a 28-bed ER
- Deliver trauma care in designated trauma bays and manage rapid patient turnover
- Continuously monitor cardiac patients and respond to telemetry changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and transfer patients as needed
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Support behavioral health patients with calm, therapeutic interventions and safe care practices
- Contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and assist colleagues during high-acuity periods
Qualifications
- Current Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) experience with clinical practice in emergency nursing
- Experience in trauma care and cardiac monitoring within an ED setting
- Comfort and experience with 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Behavioral health experience is preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaborative emergency care
Education
- Active RN licensure (Hawaii RN license required)

- Cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Managing high patient turnover in a busy ED
- De-escalation and safe care techniques for behavioral health patients
