Shift Type: Rotating nights, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, rotating weekends (Night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care for patients across the acuity spectrum, from urgent to critical
- Rapidly assess, triage, and stabilize patients including cardiac and trauma cases
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the ED team to implement timely treatment plans
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately
- Maintain readiness for pediatric emergencies and apply PALS/TNCC skills when needed
- Educate patients and families with compassion and clear communication during stressful moments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a culture of safety in the ED
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- Active BLS (Healthcare Provider) required
- ACLS required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
- PALS required
- Experience in Emergency Department nursing, trauma care, or cardiac care preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in high-acuity situations
- Familiarity with emergency department workflows and triage principles
- Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize effectively during peak volume
- Proficient documentation and communication skills with interdisciplinary teams
- Comfortable caring for pediatric and adult patients in emergent conditions
