Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patient condition throughout the shift
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately and on time
• Perform routine assessments, record vital signs, and report changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record
• Support patient comfort, safety, and dignity while assisting with daily living activities
• Participate in shift handoffs and communicate key information to incoming staff

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
• Eligible for or holding an active LPN license in New Mexico
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-focused attitude
• Comfortable working night shift hours and supporting a fast-paced clinical environment

Education

• Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing or equivalent training

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid foundational nursing skills: medication administration and patient assessments
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during a busy shift
• Basic familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Comfortable collaborating with RNs, providers, and ancillary staff
