Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient condition and document changes promptly and clearly
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to support patient goals
• Perform wound care, vital signs monitoring, and other routine clinical procedures
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up needs
• Support a safe and respectful environment that prioritizes patient dignity

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (required)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Clinical experience as an LPN preferred; open to new grads with strong clinical training
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in medication administration and documentation
• Comfortable with IV therapy basics and routine patient assessments
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in fast-paced situations
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support unit needs
