Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in an acute rehab setting
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Document interventions, progress, and discharge planning clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families about recovery goals and self-care
• Support the unit during a new opening — help establish excellent standards from day one

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN or LPN) — New Mexico licensure required
• Comfortable working the 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM day shift schedule
• Willingness to work a contract travel assignment and adapt to new facilities
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

• Patient assessment and care planning in a rehabilitation setting
• Safe medication administration and monitoring
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting
• Basic wound care and mobility support
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
