Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a licensed nursing assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) to promote dignity
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
- Accurately document care given and vital signs following facility policies
- Support mobility and rehabilitation efforts in collaboration with nursing and therapy staff
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
Qualifications
- Valid LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant credential for VT (required)
- Ability to work 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shifts and commit to a 14-week travel assignment (Jan 6, 2026 - Apr 7, 2026)
- Every-other-weekend availability required
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility (required)
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to accept overtime when available
Education
- Completion of a state-approved LNA training program
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfort with basic resident care and assisting with ADLs
- Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation skills
- Understanding of infection control and resident safety principles
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate deviations to nursing staff
- Dependable time-management and teamwork skills in a fast-paced care setting
