Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care with compassion and clinical excellence
• Perform thorough assessments and develop timely nursing plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document patient status and interventions clearly in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and self-care
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or compact license eligibility
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications preferred
• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred but motivated new grads are welcome to apply
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Clean background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Completion of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of adult patient assessment and nursing interventions
• Familiarity with medication administration and IV therapy
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems for charting
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Prior experience in acute care, step-down or similar settings is a plus
• Time management and prioritization in fast-paced environments
