Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on resident care as a Licensed Nursing Assistant
- Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, grooming, dressing and mobility
- Accurately document care and resident changes in a timely, professional manner
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and supervisors
- Support rehabilitation and recovery activities while promoting resident dignity
- Collaborate with the care team to create a safe, warm environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — VT or NH licensure noted in posting
- Available to work the evening shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and every other weekend as required
- Reliable transportation — must have dependable way to get to shift
- Comfortable working in a rehabilitation/long-term care setting; travel LNA experience a plus
Education
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program or equivalent (LNA certified)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills and familiarity with ADLs and basic nursing tasks
- Effective communication and teamwork in a clinical environment
- Knowledge of infection control and resident safety best practices
- Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and prioritize resident needs
- Adaptability to different facility workflows as a travel clinician
