Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; specific days not provided)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate day-to-day personal care to geriatric residents, promoting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting with kindness
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report observations to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Document resident care accurately and timely to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create a positive, resident-centered environment
Qualifications
- Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) credential required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
- Comfortable working night shifts and skilled at providing calm, focused care overnight
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Ability to perform personal care tasks with respect and sensitivity
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
- Quick decision-making during routine resident care and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
