Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and deliver direct and indirect resident care in line with individual care plans and physician orders
- Implement and update personalized care plans to promote resident independence and well-being
- Follow physician orders precisely and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff while maintaining a safe, caring environment
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using MATRIX EMR and other facility systems
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and facility rules, regulations and policies
Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN licensure from the State of Michigan (active at time of submission)
- Associate’s degree from an accredited university
- BLS (AHA) certification and current CPR training
- Computer literate with experience using EMR systems (MATRIX preferred)
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Geriatric experience preferred and valued for this role
- Ability to complete required skills checklist within one year for RN specialties
Education
- Associate’s degree from an accredited university
Knowledge & Skills
- Resident care and geriatric nursing best practices
- Care plan implementation and following physician orders
- Supervision, leadership and mentoring of clinical staff
- Thorough documentation skills and comfort with MATRIX EMR
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate clinical applications
- Clear verbal and written communication with residents, families and the care team
