Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with facility standards
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document interventions accurately
• Monitor and record vital signs, patient status, and progress toward goals
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Respond to changes in patient condition promptly and escalate when needed
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and adhere to infection control policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — RN strongly preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or PALS as applicable preferred
• Valid nursing license to practice in North Carolina (or compact license) preferred
• Travel/contract nursing experience is a plus but not required — bring your skills and we’ll support the rest
• Ability to pass facility background checks and drug screening

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN considered)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and judgment skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Clear, professional communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems for charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
