Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Perform timely assessments and report changes in patient condition
• Document care and interventions clearly in the patient record
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Support resident comfort, dignity, and safety while promoting independence

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Pennsylvania) required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or obtain upon hire
• Comfortable administering medications and following care plans
• Reliable, professional attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma, certificate, or equivalent vocational training

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Accurate charting and documentation practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
• Good interpersonal skills to engage patients and families with empathy
