Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to assigned patients during the overnight shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the EMR
• Perform focused patient assessments and promptly communicate changes to the care team
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and routine clinical procedures as needed
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient discharge and continuity of care
• Maintain professional standards for infection control, safety, and patient privacy

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New Mexico or compact/state license acceptable for assignment
• Clinical experience caring for adult patients; prior hospital or acute-care experience preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Ability to pass facility onboarding, background checks, and health screening requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (certificate or diploma)
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Patient assessment and monitoring during overnight hours
• Basic wound care and dressing change technique
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and charting
• Prioritization, time management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
