Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Administer medications and treatments as directed and document accurately
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and contribute to care plan updates
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and advocate for patient safety and dignity
• Participate in shift handoffs with clear documentation to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license—ability to practice in Pennsylvania preferred
• Prior LPN clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required facility onboarding
• Reliable, professional, and a team player with strong communication skills

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN program completion required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Comfortable performing patient assessments and monitoring vital signs
• Proficient in accurate charting and documentation practices
• Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient care
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions

This is a travel assignment in historic Gettysburg.
