Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients as assigned
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the care team to support patient plans
• Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to ensure quality outcomes
• Support admissions, discharges, and transitions with attention to detail
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow facility policies and procedures
• Engage patients and families with respectful communication and education

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) required — North Carolina license preferred
• Prior LPN experience in long-term care, med-surg, or similar settings is a plus
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification recommended or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and required onboarding screenings
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN / practical nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable with electronic charting and basic documentation
• Time management and prioritization skills for 12+ hour shifts
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
