Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly in the chart
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans and transitions
• Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge instructions and self-care
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns promptly
• Maintain compliance with infection control standards and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license (able to work in New Hampshire or obtain NH licensure prior to start)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS or PALS if required by unit
• Recent clinical experience in a relevant nursing area preferred
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Reliable, professional, and able to adapt quickly to new facility workflows

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing program or equivalent nursing diploma for RNs

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV experience where applicable
• Proficient documentation and charting in electronic health records
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Patient education and discharge planning skills
