Shift Type: 4 days/week (days may vary), 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Day shift, 30-minute meal

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for cardiovascular patients
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, endurance, and functional independence
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and progress toward goals
- Document treatment sessions and outcomes accurately and timely in the facility system
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies to support recovery
- Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust plans to maximize outcomes and safety
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in Kentucky or eligible for KY licensure
- Active BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Experience working with cardiovascular or acute/chronic cardiopulmonary populations is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Current professional liability insurance as required by facility or ability to obtain
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment skills for cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Skilled in therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and endurance conditioning
- Comfortable with documentation and outcome tracking in electronic medical records
- Ability to educate patients and families in clear, compassionate terms
- Good clinical judgment for safe patient handling and progression of care
