Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Day shift (Two-week training period: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patient rehabilitation
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record, ensuring regulatory and facility compliance
- Collaborate with occupational therapy, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, fall prevention, and self-management strategies
- Participate in initial training period and ongoing staff education to maintain high standards of care
Qualifications
- Current, active Physical Therapist license in California (required)
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or related degree preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required or obtained upon hire
- Prior experience in an acute, skilled, outpatient, or correctional healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong communication and documentation skills with a patient-centered approach
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field acceptable
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in physical therapy assessment and treatment planning
- Familiarity with therapeutic modalities, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise
- Experience with safe patient handling and mobility training
- Proficient documentation practices and electronic medical records
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and adapt to facility protocols
