Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care during evening shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough assessments and timely documentation in the clinical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Support residents and families with clear communication and empathy
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — RN preferred
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification
• Valid nursing license in good standing (state licensure required)
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well on an evening care team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN). BSN preferred but not required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and medication administration expertise
• Familiarity with electronic medical record charting and documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent resident needs
• Effective communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
• Basic wound care, IV/medication pump knowledge, and infection prevention
