Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:35 AM - 4:05 PM, Day shift (half-time at Twin Lakes and half-time at Enterprise)
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, families, and specialists to support student progress
- Adapt curriculum and materials to meet diverse learning styles and accessibility needs
- Track student progress, maintain records, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that fosters social and academic growth
- Attend team meetings and contribute to positive school culture at both sites
Qualifications
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education or eligibility for Washington state certification
- Experience working with IEPs and individualized instruction; previous K-12 SPED experience preferred
- Ability to manage caseload across two school sites and coordinate schedules effectively
- Strong communication skills with families, staff, and related service providers
- Willingness to complete background checks and required school employment screenings
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field required; Master's preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and assessment methods
- Classroom management strategies tailored to diverse learners
- Skill in differentiating instruction and using accommodations and modifications
- Familiarity with progress monitoring, documentation, and student data tracking
- Collaborative problem solving and effective teaming with multidisciplinary staff
