Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based individual and group mental health services to assigned patients
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans that promote patient safety and progress
• Document clinical encounters thoroughly and timely, maintaining confidentiality and compliance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support continuity
• Participate in and complete the required 3-week onboarding/training prior to the assignment
• Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive therapeutic environment

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychologist (PSYL) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) — active license required
• Comfort and experience working in mental health settings; corrections experience is a plus but not required
• Availability for mandatory training: 3 weeks, Monday-Friday, eight-hour days
• Ability to work the core schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills in adult mental health
• Proven ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Excellent documentation and time-management skills
• Skilled in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning
• Comfortable collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in structured environments
