Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care within your scope as an RN
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in condition clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on condition management, medications, and aftercare
• Respond to emergencies and escalations calmly and effectively
• Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate clinical records

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license (active and in good standing). NC licensure expected for this location
• Minimum clinical competency in medication administration and patient assessment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS if applicable to unit
• Comfort working 12+ hour day shifts and adapting to the travel assignment environment
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and required facility onboarding

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program required for RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of adult and/or geriatric nursing practices and procedures
• Skilled in patient assessment, wound care, and IV/med administration (as applicable)
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting
• Good infection control practices and safety-focused care
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
