Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for mostly outpatient orthopedic cases and some neurological patients
• Deliver hands-on and therapeutic interventions, including work in the warm water therapy pool when appropriate
• Manage a typical caseload of about 8-12 patients per day with efficient 45-minute outpatient sessions
• Document clinical care accurately and promptly in EPIC
• Coordinate care and collaborate closely with PTAs, rehab aides, and the interdisciplinary team
• Perform inpatient evaluations and cover designated St. Elizabeth Hospital areas as needed
• Participate in orientation and continuous learning to maintain high-quality patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current, active PT license (must be submitted)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PT experience preferred; new clinicians will be trained and manager may accept shorter contracts
• Comfortable charting in EPIC or willing to learn quickly
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (radius requirement: within 60 miles; DL must be submitted)
• Ability to work the published 4x10 schedule (Tuesday–Friday) and be available for the in-state orientation week

Knowledge & Skills

• Outpatient orthopedics assessment and treatment
• Neurological rehabilitation fundamentals
• Aquatic therapy experience or willingness to learn
• Strong patient evaluation and clinical documentation skills
• Time management and scheduling for blocked IP evals and documentation
• Collaborative skills for working with PTAs and interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
