Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hands-on physical therapy interventions including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to help patients regain function
• Design and implement individualized neuromuscular re-education and ADL retraining plans that make daily living safer and easier
• Deliver patient education on home safety, adaptive equipment, and self-management strategies to empower recovery
• Use therapeutic modalities and aquatic therapy when appropriate to accelerate progress
• Document clinical findings, treatment plans and progress notes accurately and timely in the medical record
• Collaborate with the care team on program development, patient discharge planning and quality improvement efforts
• Float to other areas or sites as needed to meet patient care demands

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Dry Needling Certification or documented education only if performing dry needling (required when applicable)
• Previous direct patient care experience in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to be within a 60-mile radius (DL must be submitted)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Experience with neuromuscular re-education and ADL retraining
• Comfortable using therapeutic modalities and aquatic therapy
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Accurate clinical documentation and outcome tracking
• Ability to adapt to floating and flexible schedules
• Familiarity with EMR systems and outpatient workflows
