Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized outpatient treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on and evidence-based physical therapy for ortho, total joint, vestibular, neuro, and balance diagnoses
• Manage an active caseload of roughly 9-11 patients per day with clinical efficiency and compassion
• Collaborate with PTA staff and clinic team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Document clinical care thoroughly in Cerner and maintain charting accuracy
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety, and recovery expectations
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and ongoing team meetings to support quality care

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy license eligible for submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience
• Comfortable using Cerner EMR for documentation
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred
• Ability to work with PTA staff (clinic has 2 PTAs)
• Two supervisory references required at submittal; one within 12 months and one within 3 years
• Candidates must not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facilities in the past year (PRN via outside firms is acceptable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
• Proficiency in vestibular and neurological rehabilitation techniques
• Skilled in balance assessment and training
• Caseload management and efficient patient flow
• Clinical documentation and charting best practices in Cerner
• Team collaboration and working with allied staff including PTAs
