Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Day (shifts scheduled within 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM window; typically 8-hour shifts; no weekends or holiday requirements)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized outpatient PT treatment plans that get people moving and back to life
- Provide hands-on and therapeutic interventions for orthopedic, neurologic, vestibular/BPPV and geriatric populations
- Deliver concise, timely documentation and charting in Cerner to maintain continuity of care
- Coordinate care with PTAs, Rehab Techs and the rehab team to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and communicate with the PT manager/director
- Implement falls management strategies and safety plans for a predominantly geriatric caseload
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy license or eligible for Arizona licensure (license-to-submit accepted; employer willing to wait)
- Minimum 1 year outpatient physical therapy experience
- BLS and CPR certification required
- Experience with EMR charting, preferably Cerner
- Strong documentation and patient evaluation skills
- Comfort working with geriatric patients and diagnoses such as ortho, neuro, vestibular/BPPV and falls
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred or Master’s in Physical Therapy; equivalent clinical experience considered
Knowledge & Skills
- Outpatient therapy best practices and evidence-based interventions
- Vestibular/BPPV assessment and treatment techniques
- Orthopedic and neurologic rehab principles
- Falls risk assessment and prevention strategies
- Geriatric care considerations and communication skills
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR and clear documentation/charting
- Team coordination with PTAs and Rehab Techs
