Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using evidence-based OT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions across both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Document assessments, progress, and discharge plans accurately and on time
• Educate patients and families to maximize independence and safety at home and in the community
• Adapt treatment approaches to meet varied caseloads and changing clinical needs

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist license (required)
• OTR or relevant professional certification preferred
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy settings (50/50 workload)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
• Comfort with variable schedules including weekend coverage

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Skilled in ADL/IADL training and adaptive equipment recommendations
• Clear and timely documentation practices
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to manage a mixed inpatient/outpatient caseload efficiently
