Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough occupational therapy evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions to help patients regain independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Document progress and outcomes clearly and timely in the clinic’s charting system
• Educate patients and families on home programs, adaptive techniques, and safety
• Contribute to a positive clinic culture by living the core values of faith, family, fairness, and fun

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy license in South Dakota, or eligibility to obtain one quickly
• Registration/certification (OTR) preferred; NBCOT credentials a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills; excellent interpersonal communication
• Ability to work Monday–Friday daytime schedule for the duration of the 13-week contract

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in rehabilitation services, therapeutic interventions, and adaptive equipment
• Proficient in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and progress measurement
• Solid documentation practices and familiarity with clinic workflows
• Ability to engage patients of all ages and educate families/caregivers
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills
