Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized treatment plans that drive real progress
• Deliver hands-on, evidence-based therapy to improve strength, mobility, and independence
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with facility policies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and rehabilitation strategies to support long-term outcomes

Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Prior outpatient experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with patients and staff
• Available for a 13-week contract and able to commit to a guaranteed 40-hour workweek

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and functional evaluation
• Treatment planning and individualized therapy programs
• Hands-on therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription
• Accurate clinical documentation and familiarity with facility policies
• Patient and family education with clear, compassionate communication
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
