Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic procedures across modalities (X‑Ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET‑CT) to support timely, accurate diagnoses
• Provide imaging services in the OR setting, collaborating closely with surgeons and perioperative teams
• Operate and QC imaging equipment, ensuring safety and image quality on every study
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff
• Document procedures thoroughly and communicate critical findings to the care team
• Deliver patient-centered care with compassion — explain procedures, position patients, and monitor comfort throughout exams

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) credential (required)
• Current, unencumbered Oregon Radiologic Technologist license (required)
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification (required)
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred, especially prior OR imaging experience
• Comfortable working evening shifts and collaborating in fast-paced surgical environments
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams

Education

• Preferred: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent training

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with X‑Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT and MRI imaging techniques
• Familiarity with Digital Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, PET‑CT and Ultrasound modalities
• Knowledge of radiologic safety principles and ALARA practices
• Experience operating imaging equipment in the operating room environment
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine quality checks
• Patient positioning, sterile field awareness, and perioperative communication skills
