Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and mobility with dignity and respect
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and emotional support to residents and families
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
- Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
- Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
- Teamwork, time management, and clear communication with residents and staff
