Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise CNA and other nursing staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care
- Triage emergency patients confidently and perform rapid, accurate patient assessments
- Provide hands-on acute care in both the ER and inpatient settings
- Support long-term care needs during the shift, including rounds and toileting assistance
- Collaborate with the LPN and CNA on each shift to prioritize patient safety and outcomes
- Pitch in as a team player—help fellow nurses and support continuity of care in a small hospital
- Participate in orientation and onboarding to learn facility-specific processes and protocols
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active license (able to practice where assigned)
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required)
- TNCC preferred but not required
- Demonstrated experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing and triage
- Comfort supervising CNAs and leading charge nurse responsibilities
- Ability to manage low census ER and inpatient units while maintaining high-quality care
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a rural setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency nursing and triage expertise
- Acute care and patient assessment skills
- Long-term care support, including rounds and nighttime toileting assistance
- Charge nurse/leadership experience and CNA supervision
- Clinical documentation and safe patient-handling practices
- Calm decision-making in low-resource, small-hospital environments
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to help across disciplines
