Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic imaging with precision and compassion
• Operate both CT and X-ray equipment safely while following radiation safety protocols
• Start IVs confidently and manage contrast administration when required
• Provide excellent patient care, from positioning to post-scan support, ensuring comfort and dignity
• Work independently to manage your caseload while coordinating with other departments
• Document exams accurately in the medical record and maintain imaging system workflows
• Participate in competency exams and skills checklists to maintain clinical excellence

Qualifications

• CT certification (required)
• Active California radiologic technologist licensure (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• DCI/BVP certification (listed as required)
• Proven ability to perform X-ray procedures and start IVs
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with multiple departments
• Willingness and ability to work day shifts that include weekends
• Able to complete required onboarding items: core competency exams, specialty exams, drug screen, immunizations, TB testing and fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in CT imaging and general radiography techniques
• IV insertion and contrast administration competency
• Strong patient care and patient positioning skills
• Familiarity with PACS and imaging documentation workflows
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and infection control
• Clear communication and teamwork across departments
• Ability to work independently and prioritize imaging workload
