Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform ongoing assessments and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and follow care plans
• Educate patients and families about care needs and follow-up instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the facility’s clinical documentation system
• Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
• Mentor and support peers when applicable, contributing to a positive team culture

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license valid in North Carolina (LPN or RN acceptable as listed)
• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification per facility policy (preferred or required)
• Current clinical experience in a long-term care or acute care setting is a plus
• Strong communication, time management, and patient assessment skills
• Ability to pass facility onboarding, background check, and health requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) or Registered Nursing (RN) program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team collaboration
• Adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
