Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic OB/GYN ultrasound exams with precision and compassion
- Conduct Nuchal Translucency (NT) measurements according to protocol
- Produce high-quality images and document findings clearly in the patient record
- Work closely with physicians and care teams to support patient diagnosis and care plans
- Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for optimal imaging
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and institutional policies at all times
- Complete required checklists and competency testing such as the Trinity Skills Checklist
Qualifications
- RDMS credential from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography with OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) required
- ARRT credential preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to pass license/certification verification and background/health screenings
- Compliance with required immunizations and health requirements (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Completion of fit test, Trinity 10 panel drug screen, and Trinity Color Vision
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecologic sonographic protocols and anatomy
- Proficiency in NT measurement technique and fetal assessment
- Good patient communication and comfort with guiding patients through exams
- Ability to capture diagnostically relevant images and troubleshoot study challenges
- Familiarity with imaging equipment operation and basic maintenance
- Attention to detail and ability to complete documentation accurately
