Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry patient care with attentive monitoring and timely interventions
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses accurately in the chart
• Educate patients and families about care plans, telemetry findings and next steps
• Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity and safety of care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Telemetry experience or comfort with cardiac/telemetry monitoring
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred or obtainable
• Strong assessment skills and proven ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation basics
• Cardiac rhythm recognition and appropriate response
• Patient assessment, vital signs, and focused clinical documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Infection control practices and safe medication administration
