Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on, patient-centered therapy to optimize functional independence
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians and support staff to coordinate care
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
• Educate patients, families and caregivers to support carryover and safety at home
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive clinic culture
• Adapt interventions across settings and ages to meet community and clinic needs

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota occupational therapy license or ability to obtain licensure in MN
• OTR/L credential preferred
• Comfortable working in outpatient clinic settings and adapting to flexible schedules
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
• Willingness to work a 13-week travel contract and engage with the local community

Education

• Entry-level degree in Occupational Therapy (BS/OT, MSOT, or OTD)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ADL assessments, task analysis and activity-based interventions
• Knowledge of rehabilitative techniques, splinting and adaptive equipment
• Proficient documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records
• Ability to create measurable goals and monitor patient outcomes
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient education and family collaboration
• Comfortable with outpatient caseloads and varied patient ages
