Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform special, vascular and cardiovascular X-ray procedures in the operating room with attention to safety and quality
• Implement and maintain practices that ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Coordinate special procedure examinations to support seamless, continuous patient care
• Assist the care team in executing patient plans and contribute to efficient department operations
• Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to ongoing clinical growth and competence
• Be a dependable team member who contributes to a positive, patient-centered environment

Qualifications

• ARRT registration (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• 2+ years of X-ray experience in the OR (required)
• Must live or stay within 30 minutes of the facility for the duration of the assignment (required)
• Ability to provide requested documentation and certifications in profile (ARRT, BLS)
• Completion of a skills checklist within one year preferred (non-nursing professions)

Knowledge & Skills

• Special procedures, including vascular and cardiovascular imaging techniques
• Delivering quality diagnostic studies and attention to imaging detail
• Strong patient care coordination skills in the perioperative environment
• Familiarity with OR protocols, sterile technique and teamwork in surgical settings
• Excellent communication, dependability and ability to collaborate across disciplines
