Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform special, vascular and cardiovascular X-ray procedures in the operating room with attention to safety and quality
- Implement and maintain practices that ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Coordinate special procedure examinations to support seamless, continuous patient care
- Assist the care team in executing patient plans and contribute to efficient department operations
- Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to ongoing clinical growth and competence
- Be a dependable team member who contributes to a positive, patient-centered environment
Qualifications
- ARRT registration (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- 2+ years of X-ray experience in the OR (required)
- Must live or stay within 30 minutes of the facility for the duration of the assignment (required)
- Ability to provide requested documentation and certifications in profile (ARRT, BLS)
- Completion of a skills checklist within one year preferred (non-nursing professions)
Knowledge & Skills
- Special procedures, including vascular and cardiovascular imaging techniques
- Delivering quality diagnostic studies and attention to imaging detail
- Strong patient care coordination skills in the perioperative environment
- Familiarity with OR protocols, sterile technique and teamwork in surgical settings
- Excellent communication, dependability and ability to collaborate across disciplines
