Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging for emergency department patients in a Level I trauma center
• Prioritize and triage incoming ED CT requests to support rapid, life-saving care
• Operate CT equipment safely and proficiently to produce diagnostic images
• Handle and position patients (including safe movement up to 50 lbs) with dignity and care
• Collaborate with ED physicians, trauma teams, and nurses to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and adhere to radiation safety protocols

Qualifications

• ARRT (RT) certification required
• ODH Radiologic Technologist License required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• Experience performing CT in an Emergency Department or trauma setting preferred (Trauma CT experience a plus)
• Ability to safely move and position patients and work in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with CT imaging protocols and cross-sectional anatomy
• Familiarity with ED workflows and trauma priorities
• Strong patient handling and communication skills under pressure
• Ability to triage imaging needs and manage multiple urgent requests
• Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance procedures
• Comfortable working independently on night shift with a collaborative mindset
