Roles & Responsibilities

• Answer call lights promptly and respond with compassion
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (toileting, bathing, grooming)
• Perform safe resident transfers and mobility assistance
• Obtain and record vital signs, weights and other routine measures
• Report changes in resident condition or behavior to nursing staff
• Document care and observations accurately and timely
• Support resident comfort, dignity and safety throughout each shift
• Follow facility policies, procedures and report any concerns such as alleged abuse

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• 1+ years of related CNA or long-term care experience preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Ability to perform resident transfers and safe patient handling
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Assisting with ADLs and resident personal care
• Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
• Safe patient/resident transfer techniques
• Long-term care and skilled nursing facility routines
• Clear, timely documentation and reporting
• Observation skills to notice changes in resident condition
