Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care in an acute care setting
Assist with activities of daily living while maintaining patient dignity
Monitor and record vital signs and report clinical changes promptly
Support nursing staff with procedures and timely documentation
Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and team members to support coordinated care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification as required by the State of Hawaii
Comfortable working in an acute care environment
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Current immunizations and ability to meet facility health requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment basics and vital sign monitoring
Infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
Clinical documentation and basic EMR familiarity
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced acute care setting
Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
